SPECIAL K COOKIES

These are my son's favorite cookies.  They are easy to make and very good to eat.  Don't be fooled by the "Special K".  These are not cookies that will help you with your diet.


You will need:

1 cup white syrup
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter (crunchy is best)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
5 1/2 cups Special K

 

First, heat the white syrup, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a saucepan on high heat until it boils.  

Boil for 1 minute.

Remove from heat and add the peanut butter, salt, and vanilla.  Stir well.  Then, add Special K.

Mix well.  Drop by teaspoonful on wax paper.

Let set for 1 -2 hours.

It is a good idea to hide them from your family, or they will all be gone in one day.
