Wild Rose

Sometimes, it is just about the simple things in life. These wild roses grow along the country roads in my community.  They once served as the main flowers for my Lynchburg sister's wedding around 35 years ago. She married in my Grandmother's front yard...right next to the old barn that was in my last post.

My husband came in bearing this flower one evening last week. These flowers always remind me that my sister's anniversary is here. They are such beautiful flowers to grow wildly on the roadside.

Happy Anniversary Sis.

That is very sweet!! Seems like the roses are even prettier this year.
