Power's Off

Our electricity was off for 2 hours this evening.

It is has been soooooooo hot in Tennessee this year.

Today's high was 100 with a higher heat index.

Our students at school have been given cold bottled water each day to help with the bus ride home.

We can't take the kids to the play ground because of the heat, but at least it is cool in the school building.

I really feel for people who have to work outside or have no air conditioning.

I just realized that this evening while our electricity was off.

We ended up on the front porch with the

watering can and the caladiums.

I do enjoy the time with no television or noise.
