Cute Valentines M. D. Anderson Cancer Center

Everyone should have things in their life that they are passionate about.
I am passionate about M.D. Anderson Childrens Art Project in Houston, Texas.
Every year I order their Valentines for my students.
The art comes from the kids who are patients at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
The artwork is then turned into cards, valentines, notepads, napkins, calendars, etc.
My students can look on the back of the card to see the name, age, and city of the child who designed the artwork on their card.
These are a few of the cards I have left from previous years.
My daughter usually orders the mini-Valentines to give to her classmates.
They fold in half and attach with a punched out heart.
You can check out all the things they have to offer at www.childrensart.org .
As a teacher, I love seeing the reactions my students have to these cards.  It gives them and me such a feeling of being able to care for others and to count our own blessings.

Wow! Are you in Houston getting that ice?

Those cards are beautiful! I love children's artwork! We (the PTA) did an 'Art to Remember' fundraiser at our school and they take kids art and put it on all different stuff (coffee mugs, yard flags, mouse pads, etc, etc)...it was really neat!
