Red Work Embroidery

I love old linens.

What is the secret here...

This is actually a "new" linen.

It was embroidered last year by a lovely lady from my church.

This is called red work embroidery.

She and her sister made an entire quilt of red work embroidery.  It is beautiful.

I am proud to simply own this red work embroidery towel.

I love old linens.

Especially when they are not old.
