Family Reflections

This blog post is dedicated to all of my family who may be reading this post.  I am thrilled that so many of you are reading about our days in the Big Woods.  This has been a wonderful way for us to stay connected with so many of you.  Please come back as often as you can.  We love you all.

My 16 year old son is playing high school soccer this year.  He has a game tonight.  Go Mustangs.  His greatest claim to fame is driving over the Wheeler Dam in driver's ed yesterday.  He is most excited that DUKE won the National Championship.  His special championship t-shirt arrived in the mail today.

My 12 year old daughter is trying to survive being a student in her mother's classroom.  Bless her heart.  She really loves it when I sing to the class.  (not)  She is terribly excited to be getting ready to travel with her school chorus to America Sings week after next.  We have one day between trips, and then she and I will be taking a trip with her advanced class.  We will be visiting the Renaissance Festival in Murfreesboro, sleeping in a cave in Kentucky, and visiting an Indian camp.

We always seem busy dear family, but we keep all of you close in our hearts.
