Chocolate Truffle

This dessert was very experimental.
I had no recipe, but just put some things that sounded good together.
It started with a German chocolate cake mix made by following the package directions.
The cake was baked in a 9 x 12 inch pan, and then it was torn into pieces.
The layers included:
German chocolate cake pieces
Hershey's chocolate syrup
Chocolate Instant pudding and pie filling
Cool Whip
The chocolate syrup is only on the top.
Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
